There thousands of fly fishing books out there and they can help you. Some of books you can get about fly tying are brilliant, not only will these help you tie better flies but they will also help you with learning all the names of the flies that your tying and fishing with.

The books that teach you all the different methods of fly fishing are also very good. There is so many different ways to fish your flies. For example, all the different lines, flies, rods etc, when and how to fish these methods. All these you will learn through time but if can get something that helps you on your way all the better and fishing books are an excellent way to get this information.

The more you know the better angler you will become. Some the tips you pick up in fishing books would normally take years of working out for yourself. Also if you read some fishing books on what a trout feeds on because after all that is what your fly is meant to represent-whatever the trout are feeding on on any given day.
